Kristen Steiner
Senior Development Manager
What I do at TAP:
Help keep the lights on! I raise funds to make sure we can provide programs, trainings, and support for individuals with ASD and those who support them. The task at hand changes daily, but the highlights include grant proposals, marketing and social media campaigns, fundraising events, donor relations, and much more.
My professional bio:
I graduated from University of Rhode Island with degrees in Business Management and Marketing. I started my career in IT working for American Power Conversion/Schneider Electric. Years later, I was introduced to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and decided to make a career shift into the non-profit world. My first role was as a Campaign
Manager at LLS, and from there I moved on to Hasbro Children’s Hospital as a Cause-Related Marketing Officer and Program Director for Children’s Miracle Network. It was my personal connection with ASD that ultimately brought me to The Autism Project. I truly enjoy working with such a talented team of individuals!
