The Autism Project’s Imagine Walk to take place on April 28, 2024

The Autism Project (TAP) is hosting its 22nd annual Imagine Walk on April 28, 2024 at Goddard Memorial State Park in Warwick, Rhode Island. This event promises to be a collaboration between autistic people, parents, professionals, and community members to raise awareness and celebrate diversity for the autism community and those with neuro-inclusive disorders.
The Imagine Walk is one of the many fundraising events that TAP hosts throughout the year, and it serves as a critical source of funding for the organization’s programs, services, and training. The funds raised at this event will help to ensure that those with autism have access to the high-quality support, training, and programming that they need to live independently and reach their full potential.
As the autism field continues to grow, it is essential that we have a community that supports and amplifies the voices of those with autism. This event is a great way to do this and to show our commitment to creating a more inclusive and welcoming world for everyone.
Joanne Quinn, Executive Director of The Autism Project, expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of the participants, sponsors, and volunteers who make this event possible. She emphasized that the Imagine Walk is a day where people come together to continue making strides towards building a more inclusive world for those with autism.
The Imagine Walk is expected to draw over 4,500 guests, making it the largest autism acceptance event in the state. The event will feature a number of guest speakers and workshops, as well as a marketplace selling products and services from local vendors and artisans. It is a great opportunity for people to learn more about autism and neuro-inclusive disorders, and to support the work of the Autism Project.
