Learning with The Autism Project©
Some of the most meaningful learning happens when we listen to the people with lived experience.
The Autism Project’s Panel Presentations provide organizations with the opportunity to learn directly from autistic adults and parents and caregivers of autistic people. Through personal stories, honest conversation, and facilitated discussion, panelists share their experiences, perspectives, challenges, and insights—helping participants better understand autism beyond textbooks, trainings, and clinical descriptions.
Panel presentations can be tailored to the needs of your organization and include opportunities for participants to ask questions and engage directly with panelists. Whether you are an educator, healthcare provider, clinician, employer, first responder, or community organization, these conversations offer a powerful opportunity to listen, learn, and better understand the experiences of the people you serve.
Autistic Adult Panel:
Learn directly from autistic adults as they share their experiences, perspectives, and insights. Panelists offer a firsthand look at what it means to navigate the world as an autistic person, sharing stories related to education, employment, relationships, healthcare, community life, self-advocacy, and other aspects of adulthood. Through facilitated conversation and audience Q&A, participants have the opportunity to listen, ask questions, challenge assumptions, and develop a deeper understanding of autism from the people who know it best—autistic people themselves.
Parent and Caregiver Panel
Hear directly from parents and caregivers as they share their experiences supporting autistic family members across the lifespan. Panelists offer honest perspectives on navigating education, healthcare, services and supports, family and community life, advocacy, transitions, and planning for the future. Through facilitated conversation and audience Q&A, participants gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of families and the ways professionals and organizations can build stronger, more collaborative partnerships with the people they support.
