Camp WANNAGOAGAIN! Director
What I do at TAP:
In my role as camp director I am responsible for coordinating placement of campers, hiring and training of staff, and planning and managing day-to-day activities of Camp WANNAGOAGAIN!
One fun fact about me is:
I have a hilarious, inquisitive, strong-willed, 2 year-old son named Joey and a 9 year-old black labrador retriever named Luca who is a trained therapy dog.
I started working for Lifespan 18 years ago, at Bradley Hospital, and have continued working with children and young adults with autism and other different abilities. I am a full-time special education teacher in Massachusetts and currently work part-time for The Autism Project. My journey at TAP started nearly a decade ago, as a 1:1 camp counselor, and has evolved to include a variety of different roles leading up to my current role as camp director. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s degree in Special Education from American International College. I also hold specialized certifications in reading and am a registered yoga teacher.
