Administrative Assistant & Billing Coordinator
What I do at TAP:
My responsibilities include managing the authorization and billing processes for social skills groups, camp and respite, coordinating the group application, scheduling, and monitoring processes, communicating with parents, and overseeing the electronic record data entry process for children’s programs . I also communicate with insurance liaisons, monitor insurance eligibility and staff billing notes to ensure compliance with Medicaid billing standards. I manage weekly deposits from fundraising events and donations, as well as financial reporting.
One fun fact about me is:
I am a neat freak and can’t leave work or home without tidying up first!
My professional bio:
Before coming to the Autism Project in July of 2016, I worked in the business world managing office systems, purchasing, inventory management, financial reporting, and customer relations. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in 2010, majoring in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, and Design with a minor concentration in business.
